Measure the smallest movements

Structures sway, settle and vibrate at very low levels. Epson QMEMS accelerometers resolve these signals with digital three-axis output, so you can monitor bridges, buildings and machines without analog front ends.

AMCORIS supplies Epson accelerometers and supports you from selection and evaluation to integration. The M-A352AD10 is available directly in our online shop.

QUICK ANSWER

Which Epson accelerometer do I need?

For structural health monitoring and seismic networks, the M-A352AD10 offers 0.2 µg/√Hz and can be ordered online. For very quiet sites and ambient vibration testing, the M-A370AD10 goes further: INGV measured 0.02 µg/√Hz self-noise between 1 and 10 Hz. For outdoor and industrial installations, the IP67 M-A552AR10 (RS-422) and M-A552AC10 (CANopen) also output tilt angles directly.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Your question is not listed?

Ask our engineers →

QWhat does noise density mean?

Noise density describes the sensor's own noise per square root of bandwidth. The lower it is, the smaller the vibrations and tilt changes the sensor can resolve.

QAccelerometer or vibration sensor?

An accelerometer delivers raw acceleration for your own analysis, down to very low frequencies. Epson vibration sensors calculate velocity and displacement inside the sensor and suit standard condition monitoring.

QCan an accelerometer measure tilt?

Yes. Near level, 1 µg corresponds to about 1 µrad of tilt. The M-A552 series outputs tilt angles directly.

QCan I buy the M-A352AD10 directly?

Yes. The M-A352AD10 is available in our online shop. All other models are available on request.
