Condition data, ready to use

Instead of streaming raw acceleration, Epson vibration sensors calculate velocity and displacement inside the sensor and output them as raw values, RMS or peak-to-peak. This reduces processing load on your controller and the data volume in IIoT networks.

AMCORIS supplies Epson vibration sensors and supports you from selection and evaluation to integration into your monitoring system.

QUICK ANSWER

Vibration sensor or accelerometer?

Choose a vibration sensor when you want standard condition values such as velocity RMS directly from the sensor. Choose an accelerometer such as the M-A352AD10 when you need raw acceleration for your own FFT, very low frequencies or structural monitoring.

INSIDE THE SENSOR

From vibration to condition value

1

Sense

Three-axis acceleration at the machine.

2

Integrate

Velocity from 10 to 1000 Hz and displacement from 1 to 100 Hz.

3

Compute

Raw values, RMS or peak-to-peak, selectable.

4

Output

Digital data via UART/SPI or RS-422 to your controller or gateway.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Your question is not listed?

Ask our engineers →

QWhat do Epson vibration sensors output?

Velocity (10–1000 Hz) and displacement (1–100 Hz) on three axes, as raw values, RMS or peak-to-peak.

QWhich interface should I choose?

UART/SPI for compact integration into machines and gateways, RS-422 with IP67 for long cables and harsh environments.

QDo I still need my own signal processing?

Not for standard condition values: the sensor delivers them directly. For detailed spectrum analysis, an accelerometer with raw output such as the M-A352AD10 is the better fit.

QCan I test the sensors before ordering?

Yes. Request an Epson evaluation kit from AMCORIS and test the sensor in your own setup. Our team helps you choose the right model.

Not sure which sensor fits?

Tell us about your machines. We recommend a model and provide an evaluation kit.
